The Presidents co-chaired the seventh session of the Council of Presidents of the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine. They discussed concrete measures Lithuania could offer Ukraine to help implement the necessary reforms and ensure its national and regional security.

On Friday, the European Commission (EC) adopted its fifteenth report on the practical preparations for the euro changeover, assessing the progress made up until the end of September 2014, and concluded that Lithuania's preparations are well on track overall.

'Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania and the Alliance of Russians once again will stand together for elections (this time local ones),' announced the Chairman of EAPL Valdemar Tomaševski during the press conference organized yesterday by the Lithuanian Seimas. V. Tomaševski will apply for the mayor position during the elections of next year.
