The document was signed by LPK President Robertas Dargis and USPP President Anatoliy Kinakh, during the latter's visit to Lithuania. The mission of the newly opened business representation is to represent the interests of Ukraine's industry and businesses in the EU institutions.
"Today we signed an agreement and confirmed the wish of Ukrainian industrialists to get integrated into Europe's business society. Their European-integration steps are obvious. The new representation office only confirms that their aim is right. Lithuania and Lithuania's industrialists support Ukraine's initiatives," LPK head Dargis said after the signing ceremony.
According to the leader of Lithuania's industrialists, Ukraine is facing a bumpy yet a very clear road: the country will get fully integrated into democratic Europe and its businesses will not only take over technologies of European standards but also European business values and product markets.
