On Friday, President Gitanas Nausėda met with Virginijus Sinkevičius, Member of the European Commission for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries. The meeting focused on the EU’s energy security and independence from Russia, support for Ukraine and accelerating the process of its European integration.

President Gitanas Nausėda had a telephone call with Prime Minister Kaja Kallas of Estonia and Prime Minister Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš of Latvia to discuss further support for Ukraine, including military aid, EU candidate country status and tightening of sanctions against Russia.
