Last Saturday, March 19 finals of International Erasmus Games organised by Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Lithuania took place in Vilnius. Teams of basketball, volleyball and futsal from 10 institutions of higher education played in the finals; in total around 160 international degree and exchange students with their fans gathered together for the international student sports event.

Japanese energy and technologies corporation Hitachi renewed its collaboration agreement with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). The agreement was signed by the company's Vice-President Uozumi Hiroto and KTU's Rector Petras Baršauskas earlier this month.

Lithuanian Competition Council has approved Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) acquisition of almost 79 percent of shares of ISM University of Management and Economics.
