The bone equivalent Cell'in, created by Lithuanian researchers, is made from cellulose/hydroxyapatite composite. President Dalia Grybauskaitė opened new premises of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Vilnius, which produces magnetic beads that should become a serious antidote in the fight against oncological diseases and HIV. Lithuania is the first and currently the only country in the world starting to produce technological products of such level. "Swedish Light in December" is an annual festival, which started with the celebration of Lucia's Day in 2008 and has already become a tradition.
