The respective Draft Law No. XIIP-3627(2) was adopted by a total of 94 Members of the Seimas voting in favour, with no votes against and no abstentions.
The Research Council of Lithuania was charged with representing the Republic of Lithuania. The Law will provide the Lithuanian researchers with new opportunities for integrating into the European Research Area and will facilitate access to high-level research training.
As stated in the explanatory note to the Law, the implementation of the Agreement will annually require an investment of approx. EUR 40,000 from the State budget.
