EducationInnovative Russian software solutions start-up Mobile Angels, which specialises in mobile apps that use augmented reality technology, is setting up operations in Lithuania. The company aims to establish a team of 25 highly qualification information systems specialists in Lithuania within three years. The news comes on the back of the successful launch of the company’s most recent project, a mobile app for skiers with augmented reality functions. Four Chinese students from a primary school from Shen Zhen chose to study and learn something new during their summer holidays, and came to Kaunas University of Technology for two weeks from 20 July to 8 August 2016. The children participated at KTU-based Summer Camp, which was organised by partnering organisations from Lithuania and China. Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)’s first concerns are with the Turkish academic staff and students, who are temporarily working or studying at KTU and in Lithuania.
