Participants are required to register online. On 1 September, 2016 Vilnius University opens traditionally the 438th academic year with an official opening ceremony “Renovatio Studiorum”. Orientation week started at VGTU aiming to help international students have a smooth integration to the university life. A record high number of international students were welcomed to VGTU this September: almost 900 students from over 60 countries. “Lithuania is a great country, it is good to live in Europe, where you can find a job in an international company with the motivating working environment”, says Kamoliddin Mirzoev, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) student of informatics. This summer Kamoliddin spent working as an intern at Nasdaq’s Technology and Business Support Competence Centre in Vilnius. This was not the first internship for the KTU student from Tajikistan. |
