The main activity of the event is an experimental study of elemental particle physics using real CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research data recorded in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment. This April, the CMS Masterclass is coming to Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) for the first time. March traditionally is a Francophone month all over the world and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is taking part in spreading the word about culture, cuisine, history, art and everything French to the local community. March 16th-22nd, 2019, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Law students will be attending lectures in Opatija, Croatia's held in conjunction with Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. Although Kiran Subbarayadu, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) master’s Food Science and Safety student is living in Kaunas only for the second year, he has achieved a lot. Last spring Kiran created a nutritious buckwheat cocktail, which won an industry prize in the innovation fair Technorama 2018. Today Kiran is working in a Lithuanian company and his organic innovative product will hit the market in a couple of months. QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019 were announced on February 27, 2019. This year four Lithuanian universities were ranked in different study and research areas. For the first time in Lithuania’s history, it was ranked in the field of law. Mykolas Romeris University was the only Lithuanian university that appeared in the subject ranking for law among the 300 best universities of the world, taking the 251-300 position. Call for applications for full-time master’s degree studies at lithuanian higher education institutions2019-03-16, 10:10The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania is opening a Call for applications for 50 Lithuanian state grants for full-time Master’s degree at Lithuanian higher education institutions for the 2019/2020 academic year. Funding under the Call shall be provided to the nationals of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the People’s Republic of China, Georgia, the State of Israel, Japan, the Republic of Korea, foreigners of Lithuanian origin, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Ukraine. The admission to PhD studies at KTU for international students has already started, with the first deadline as soon as 15 May for studies starting in September 2019.
