Erasmus student Eleana Botsa from Athens, Greece, says studies at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) have broadened her horizons and allowed her to meet many international students from various countries. Hamlet, one of the most famous productions of the National Kaunas Drama Theatre, directed by Vidas Bareikis, will be shown on the main stage of the Theatre with English translation on Saturday, 18 November. The translation is being provided by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) technical translation students and teachers. During the regional finals of sustainable energy competition PowerUp! the Lithuanian finalist – the team of renewable energy professionals R-Solar. R-Solar has developed technical and economically perspective solution for photovoltaic industry, which will adapt it to the more efficient model of circular economy. During an official visit to the UAE, President Dalia Grybauskaitė met with the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to discuss bilateral cooperation in innovation, high technologies, communications, renewable energy, and life sciences. Italy, Germany, Malta, Romania, Luxembourg… This is not a random list of countries, but Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) students’ and graduates’ internship places. The list is by no means final, and many of the young people continue their career in the same companies. On Thursday 16 November Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) will celebrate the International Students’ Day. This year the students will not only take managerial positions at the University departments, but also in several companies managed by KTU Alumni. On Thursday, 27 October Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) Council has appointed Acting Vice-Rectors for Study and for Research and Innovation. During the meeting, the KTU Council has also started to prepare for the election process of the new Rector. |
