The interlocutors expressed their positions on relations with China and Russia, particularly focusing on prospects of bilateral economic cooperation.

Thursday evening, Lithuania was elected to the United Nations Human Rights Council for 2022-2024. President Gitanas Nausėda thanked the international community for placing its confidence in Lithuania and underlined that this would be a great opportunity for Lithuania to demonstrate leadership in the field of human rights.

The President of Lithuania extended congratulations to President Moon Jae-in of the Republic of Korea on the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
