The telephone conversation took place on the initiative of L. Linkevičius. President Gitanas Nausėda had a telephone call with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss the dynamics of the COVID-19 crisis and its consequences for the Lithuanian and Allied security environment, national and international security and defense agendas, as well as relations with the neighboring countries. Linkevičius participates in teleconference of Foreign Ministers of Baltic states2020-05-01, 16:03On 29 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius took part in a teleconference of the Foreign Ministers of the Baltic states and discussed the possibility to relax the quarantine regime in a coordinated manner, as well as to gradually facilitate travel conditions for citizens. The Government has taken a decision to further ease the lockdown restrictions following the recommendations by the Ministry of Health. This will relax restrictions on leisure activities, departure from the country (as of 4 May) and it will allow health care providers to resume services.
