The Foreign Ministers discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the situation in Ukraine, relations with Russia, security situation in the region and cooperation in the fields of energy and transport. According to Linkevičius, Lithuania and Estonia enjoy excellent bilateral relations. Estonia is Lithuania's important partner in the region, the European Union, NATO and other international organisations. Last Tuesday, the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuanian adopted the draft resolution presented by the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania regarding the increase of salaries of state budget employees who do not have the status of civil servants.
