A teacher of Japanese, native speaker Yumiko Nunokawa came to study to Lithuania because she was enchanted by the art of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. Yumiko graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a Master of Music degree in 2005 and after hearing Čiurlionis' music she started researching work of this Lithuanian composer and artist. Now Yumiko is a second-year doctoral student of Musicology in faculty of Social sciences, arts and humanities, researching on artistic language of Čiurlionis.
