The Max Planck Institute for Innovation & Competition (MPI) in partnership with the World Forum for Ethics in Business, the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, and the Peter Löscher Chair of Business Ethics (Technical University of Munich) is organizing ‘World Youth Forum for Ethics in Innovation 2017’ (WYF 2017), which will be hosted at the MPI in Munich, 23-25 June 2017. On June 25 – July 8, in Maribor, Slovenia, summer school will be organized for MA and PhD students from all over the world. Application deadline is May 1st, 2017. On Saturday, 25 March, KTU Faculty of Informatics hosted almost 200 pupils who participated in the 20th Dr Juozas Petras Kazickas Pupil Computer Science Forum. Seventy participants were awarded prizes established by dr. J. P. Kazickas Family Foundation or received generous awards from other benefactors of the event. The fourth edition of the global university ranking U-Multirank among 1 500 institutions also covers 18 higher education institutions in Lithuania (10 universities and 8 colleges). The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania takes pleasure in offering Lithuanian state scholarships for full-time Master degree studies for nationals of the Republic of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Georgia, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova, Japan, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the State of Israel as well as foreigners of Lithuanian origin to study at Lithuanian higher education institutions. The scholarships are intended for full-time Master’s degree studies in Lithuania. The committee on education, science and culture of the Baltic Assembly is meeting in Tartu, Estonia on Friday to discuss the development of vocational education and training in the Baltic countries.
