Next summer will be extraordinary for two Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) students: biomedical electronics student Julija Kravčenko (Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and programming systems student Paulius Saulėnas (Faculty of Informatics) will spend a week in a summer school organised by the University Twente (Netherlands). KTU is collaborating with Twente University through the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU): both universities are members of the Consortium.

International exhibition "Riga's Art Nouveau in Architecture and Art" is open at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). The travelling exhibition of the museum “Riga Art Nouveau Centre” has already visited Minsk, Bratislava and Vienna, and until the end of April is open to Vilnius’ residents and guests. It covers the Art Nouveau architecture, art (painting, decorative graphics, prints) and design objects. The exhibition is at VGTU’s Faculty of Architecture.

Erasmus Student Network at Kaunas University of Technology (ESN KTU) is inviting KTU students to join the project Multilingual Lithuania and to learn languages from native speakers. New courses started this Wednesday, 1 March, so far 9 languages are being offered. Last year more than 300 native and international students attended the lectures taught by their fellow students across Lithuania.

The Bank of Lithuania and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) – one of the largest schools of higher education in the country – have agreed on cooperation in preparing and implementing projects in scientific research, human resources and other fields. The cooperation agreement was signed by the heads of the two institutions at the Bank of Lithuania in Vilnius on Friday.
