The first academic start-up incubator in Lithuania, which is uniting a community of start-up companies, providing consultations, premises and other help to the beginning entrepreneurs was awarded in the category of Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit.
The programme of KTU Startup Space encompasses 4 major stages of creating a business: developing business idea, prototype development, founding and development of an enterprise. KTU Startup Space has assisted more than 60 young enterprises, which created more than 110 jobs.
KTU Startup Space together with the projects from other European countries will participate in the finals of European Enterprise Promotion Awards on 23 November, in Tallin.
The winners of the competition will be chosen from 32 national finalists from European countries. The Jury’s Grand Prize can be from any category and will go to the entry considered to be the most creative and inspiring entrepreneurship initiative in Europe.
