EducationAugustas Žaltauskas, a recent graduate of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is one of 40 Europeans who have been chosen to the internship in Japan. Selected from more than 1 000 applicants of the training programme Vulcanus in Japan, Augustas is starting internship at the international company of telecommunications this September. Last week Times Higher Education (THE) has announced the rankings of the best universities in Europe 2016–2017. According to the rankings, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is among the best 400 European universities (301+ category). Birutė Galdikas, the world-famous Lithuanian anthropologist, primatologist, conservationist, ethologist, and author, recognized as a leading authority on orang-utans, will deliver a lecture this Wednesday at Kaunas National Drama Theatre. June 16-18th were the dates of the 8th Hacker Games: Vilnius. It hosted around 150 attendees at VGTU "LinkMenų fabrikas".
