Students say that lectures are never boring and lecturers stress team work.
"We are pleasantly surprised by teachers and their methods and close communication with students. To quote a student, 'you will never fall asleep during the lectures, because the classes of each professor differ significantly," a student said.
There are many discussions on global problems relating to the economy, politics and especially the law fields.
Aug. 24th-26th, Induction Week was organized by the University of Savoie Mont Blanc.
During the Week, students met about 120 students from all over the world including China, Japan, the U.S. Although there are differences, we have much in common including that "we love to have a great time and came here to explore France," the students said.
Students also had the opportunity to take intensive French lessons, participate in sports activities such as hiking, horse riding, canoeing.
"We honestly recommend that other students use this enormous opportunity and to join the Induction Week next year. "
Students also noted that nature is stunning, the mountains nearby spellbinding, people are friendly and smiling. The student body at the University of Savoie comes from various countries. We have much in common, despite differences between our cultures, students say.
The first month in the Savoie region of France left the best impression on each of us, students noted. "Our place of studies and daily life is in Chambery - the capital of Savoie region. This city is beautiful because of its nature," students said.
We want to thank both universities - MRU and the University of Savoie Mont Blanc for this opportunity and support of this programme. Furthermore, we are grateful for supervisors of these studies: MRU Prof. Virginijus Bitė and Eric Brunat, who are always ready to help in all kinds of questions, students said.
Students are required to spend the 3rd semester in France. The last semester, the 4th, is set aside for writing the Master's thesis and undertaking an internship. Students spend the last semester of studies in the country where they are undertaking the internship. It could be France, Lithuania, Ukraine or another country.
