Throughout July, a project of intensive teaching of the Spanish language Curso de Verano (Summer Courses), initiated by the Centre for Languages and Social Education of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, took place in Klaipėda University. After the Dean of the Faculty had signed an agreement with the Camilo José Cela University of Madrid, its master‘s student Jesús Llamas Sevilla arrived in Klaipėda. Over 50 Klaipedians of different age spent a month learning Spanish. Some of them were learning elementary Spanish, while others improved the possessed skills. KTU Students’ Achievements at Twente Summer School: Creating Exoskeletons and Analysing Search Engines2017-08-29, 17:13Two Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) students – Julija Kravčenko and Paulius Saulėnas – spent a week in a summer school organised by the University Twente (Netherlands). In the end of the course, the projects of the KTU students and their teams won recognition for exceptional achievements. Lithuania's new school year starting next week will be ten days longer and several new subjects, including national security and defense and sexuality and family life education, will be added to the curriculum, officials said on August 25th.
