In the Q2 of 2015 foreign direct investment flow into Lithuania and the Lithuanian direct investment flow abroad were increasing, the Bank of Lithuania reports. The retail turnover (including VAT) of the Apranga Group amounted to EUR 18.0 mln. in September 2015, and has increased by 9.7 % in comparison to September 2014, the company said in a statement. Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in August 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles amounted to EUR 189.1 million and, against July, decreased by 9.8% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – increased by 0.2%). Analysts from SEB bank have reduced Lithuania's gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast from 2.6 to 1.8 %. In 2015, a 5.9 million ton harvest of cereal crops is projected in Lithuania, among which – 5.5 million tons of cereals, predicts the Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics. The Statistics Department of the Bank of Lithuania reports that in August 2015 the Bank of Lithuania's holdings of debt securities increased by EUR 259.0 million, while loans to euro area residents decreased by EUR 50.2 million. FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has successfully finished a two-year long business development project. Over the period of project implementation, the company invested almost EUR 6 million into high tech maintenance equipment and created more than 200 new jobs in the company's MRO centre in Kaunas, Lithuania. The Ministry of Agriculture has reached an agreement with the Lithuanian Central Credit Union (LCKU), its members and the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Fund over exceptional credit conditions for dairy producers so they do not face the lack of working capital.
