WorldPresident Gitanas Nausėda continues preparations for the NATO Summit in Vilnius with a working visit to Spain. On Wednesday, the President met with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The meeting focused on the NATO Summit agenda, security and defense cooperation between Lithuania and Spain, and Russia’s war against Ukraine. On Tuesday Parliament voted to top up macro-financial aid for Moldova by up to €145 million to help the country cover part of its funding needs in 2023. On Monday, President Gitanas Nausėda met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
