Customs Union: EU customs seized over 41 million fake goods at EU borders last year2017-07-23, 16:39New figures released by the European Commission today show that customs authorities detained more than 41 million fake and counterfeit products at the EU's external border in 2016. The goods had a total value of over €670 million. An agreement was signed today between Terna and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a EUR 130 million loan in support of investments for the public component of the “Piedmont-Savoy” project, the new 320 kV direct current electricity interconnector that will link Italy and France.
