“Lithuania highly appreciates a long-standing Swiss - Lithuanian co-operation and good bilateral relations. We are like-minded countries on many issues. Switzerland is a close and committed partner at both the bilateral level and in the context of relations with the European Union. Both countries have a common approach to key global agenda issues, as well as determination to boost the economy, strengthen the security and welfare of our citizens,” the Minister Linkevičius wrote in his congratulations letter.
In addition, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius said that he looked forward to further close cooperation with the Swiss Confederation also in the future.
