On 12 April, the first Lithuania-Saudi Arabia business forum took place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The participants signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting bilateral business relations between the two countries.

On 10 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Cabinet’s member Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani and discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation. President Dalia Grybauskaitė met with Ángel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and attended the OECD Council session that formally concluded talks on Lithuania‘s OECD membership.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė is going on a working visit to Paris where she will meet with President Emmanuel Macron of France for bilateral talks at the Élysée Palace. The President of Lithuania will also attend a meeting between the three Presidents of the Baltic states and the President of France. In the evening, the Presidents will open an exposition dedicated to Baltic Symbolism at the Musee d’Orsay. Dalia Grybauskaitė will also attend the Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where she will finalize the negotiations on Lithuania’s membership.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands will pay a state visit to Lithuania at the invitation of President Dalia Grybauskaitė on June 13–15.
