On October 16–17, President Gitanas Nausėda will be on a working visit to Brussels to participate in the European Council meeting and the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council summit.

President Gitanas Nausėda continues his working visit to the United Nations in New York, where on Tuesday, he participated in the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine. The President addressed the meeting on behalf of the three Baltic States.

On Monday, President Gitanas Nausėda met with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, who is on an official visit to Lithuania. The Lithuanian and Albanian leaders discussed the security situation in Europe, Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, support for Ukraine, the situation in the Western Balkans, and EU enlargement issues.

On Tuesday, President Gitanas Nausėda will pay a working visit to Moldova.

President Gitanas Nausėda presented letters of credence to the Lithuanian Ambassadors to Ukraine, the Czech Republic and France. The President appointed Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė as Ambassador to Ukraine, Rolandas Kačinskas as Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and Arnoldas Pranckevičius as Ambassador to France. During their meetings, discussions focused on Lithuania’s foreign policy and national security priorities.

President Gitanas Nausėda met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit. The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation in defense and economic areas, hybrid threats and support for Ukraine.

On July 10 Minister of National Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas met with Minister of Defence of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans on the margins of the NATO Summit. Lithuanian Minister thanked the Netherlands for the Netherlands for the substantial contribution to Baltic security.

President Gitanas Nausėda is visiting Washington for the NATO Summit. On Wednesday, the President attended the meeting of the North Atlantic Council.

President Gitanas Nausėda, along with the leaders of other NATO member states, attended the NATO 75th anniversary celebratory event in Washington DC.

President Gitanas Nausėda will participate in the anniversary NATO Summit in the United States of America on July 9-10.
