The Lithuanian Armed Forces Logics Command has signed procurement contracts for engineer countermobility means: dragon’s teeth, cheval de frise and Czech hedgehog type of fortifications and concrete road barriers are planned to be transferred to the Lithuanian Armed Forces by the end of the year. The purchase is worth over EUR 4 million.

On June 3–9 fighter aircraft of the NATO Baltic Air Policing Detachment were scrambled two times to patrol the international airspace over the Baltic Sea and 11 times – to intercept aircraft of the Russian Federation violating flight rules in international airspace over the Baltic Sea.

On June 9, the election to the European Parliament day, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) under the Ministry of National Defence recorded no cyber-incidents linked to the election. According to the statistics from Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) for May, nearly 641,000 passengers were served across its three airports last month. This figure is 12% higher than in the same month of 2023. It is reported that this is not only the highest monthly passenger number this year but also the highest in the entire history of LTOU. Additionally, the passenger flow in May across the LTOU network was the largest among all Baltic countries' airports.
