On 8 June, at the request of parents I was present at V. Sirokomlės secondary school in Vilnius. There were two policemen from the Prevention subdivision of the First Police Station in Vilnius. They were carrying out operational activities based on questioning the teachers. It was all concerning an anonymous that was allegedly received by the police. The officers questioned the names of the participants of the legal rally and school strike organized in defence of the education of national minorities. This action is outrageous and unacceptable in a democratic state ruled by law; it is an attempt to intimidate the school community which in a legal and civilized way stands in defence of their rights. Unfortunately, it was not the first case of such outrageous authorities' actions using the police help.
