Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) maintains a high position in terms of competition in the international study sphere and is one of the leaders in social sciences in Lithuania, institutional rankings of universities published by the magazine “Reitingai” shows.

On May 14 Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) signed a cooperation agreement with UAB Teltonika IoT group.

Vilnius University (VU) has today been named the best Lithuanian higher education institution for the eighth time in a row. This year, VU scored 74.43 points out of a total of 100 (64.09 last year) in the ranking of education and higher education institutions traditionally compiled by the magazine “Reitingai”. VU is a leader in three of the five areas assessed: academic achievements, added value created by alumni and employer evaluation, and studies and students.

On Wednesday, May 12, the annual rankings of Lithuanian higher education institutions and colleges organised by the magazine “Reitingai” (Eng. Rankings) were published. Kaunas University of Technology significantly improved its results in study quality, international competitiveness and other criteria of the Rankings. For several years in a row now, KTU remains the best university in Kaunas and the second-best in Lithuania.

“I have a very active social life, and I don’t want to stop it all just because I am studying. That’s why I chose a university, which has a lot of different clubs and societies”, says Sally Sakandelidze from Georgia, a first-year KTU student at Communication Studies and Information Management Technologies.

The Vilnius University Technology Hub (VU Tech Hub) has launched the Nominal Scholarship Competition for the best defended thesis prepared during degree studies. The students themselves can apply directly or the candidates can be nominated by their academic supervisors.

During the first week of May, the Arqus Academy Week, organized by Vilnius University (VU), took place. The event attracted some five hundred members of the Arqus Alliance university community, who had the opportunity to learn more about Arqus activities, participate in interesting seminars, workshops and discussions. The week ended with an exclusive discussion with representatives of ministries from the seven countries of the Arqus Alliance universities, where the development of joint interdisciplinary study programmes and other collaborative actions was discussed.

The International summer school, organised by KTU Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and Kaunas 2022 invites participants from architectural and other creative practices to participate in the third international summer school.
