The latter is implementing the project, “Improvement of Quality, Services and Infrastructure in Lithuanian Courts”, financed 2014-2021 by funds of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
The main expected results of the cooperation during a 10-month period include: preparing a court procedure study, analyzing the current situation, undertaking monitoring and analysing best practices from abroad, on the basis of which effective court-based methodological tools will be developed and implemented in the judicial system. This will ensure faster court proceedings, shorter trial times, more effective implementation of the right to justice; preparing drafts of legal acts at all levels regulating the conduct of court proceedings and / or their amendments.
