The traditional procession of the VU community on Gediminas Avenue from the Seimas to the VU Great Yard, which did not occur due to the pandemic last year, will also take place. VU Rector prof. Aug. 25th - 31st, 2021, a record number - about 400 international and exchange students will begin Introductory Week events at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

A team of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) students have come up with an idea for an application that would allow organising used cooking oil collection and reduce pollution. The new system would connect restaurants and households on one side of Lithuania with recycling companies on the other via the app. Based on current resources, the application should be launched in 2022.

A series of integration events for first-year students begins at Vilnius University (VU). In the Grand Courtyard of VU (3 Universiteto Str.) at 10 a.m. on 31 August, the integration event for first-year students – #StudentAUK – will take place. The event will be opened with a welcome part for foreign students.

Lithuania’s higher education admissions organizer LAMA BPO announced that 4,705 youth have expressed a desire to study in Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Bachelor’s Degree programmes and 552 have been invited to study at the University. It will be possible to sign an agreement with the University until Friday, August 13th, 2021 remotely online.
