The University has invited more than 15 artists, who will provide their contemporary interpretation of various events in Lithuanian history, focusing on the contribution of the University’s community on the creation of the State. According to the organisers, Startup Lithuania, Hacker Games are attracting around 200 curious and creative young minds every year. Blockchain technology is often referred to as the “second internet” and the enabler for the New Era in many other technologies. Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) is working to make blockchain technologies part of the University’s research and curricula. This week VGTU has made a significant step to put this goal into reality. The University signed a membership agreement to become part of Hyperledger, an open source collaborative effort created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies hosted by Linux Foundation. It is a multi-project, multi-stakeholder effort that includes more than 185 organizations including leaders in finance, banking, IoT, supply chain, manufacturing and technology. The readability index comprising of several factors, can be used for determining area safety, for monitoring and modifying usage of city districts, for providing factual information on the qualities of urban spaces. |
