Negotiations between the EU and the US on a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) could lead to the world's largest free-trade area. Although this could help to boost economic growth and create jobs on both sides of the Atlantic, there are concerns about the consequences the deal could have. Lithuania will join the Council of Europe's aid to Ukraine. Lithuania will deliver a shipment of humanitarian aid worth 83,532 euros in response to the appeal of the Head of the European Commission DG for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection. Necessary medications and medical equipment worth 42,825 euros will be shipped together with relief supplies that include 50 electric heaters, 100 folding beds, 100 warm sleeping-bags, 2 power generators, 10 fuel-fired heaters, 10 tents and 2,000 wool blankets.
