Parliament is set to approve rules to counteract market-distorting foreign subsidies to companies operating in the EU. LTG Cargo, the freight branch of Lietuvos Geležinkeliai (LTG) Group, extends the existing international routes and is going to launch regular services to Italy – the company’s first intermodal test train has been put into operation to leave for the port of Trieste. The new route is tested just a couple of months from the memorandum of cooperation signed in September by the heads of LTG and Italian logistics companies, during the visit of the Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis in Trieste together with the Lithuanian delegation.
