Lithuania's state-run railway group Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) reported 2% growth in revenue for January through July 2019 amid an increase in passenger traffic and a decline in freight shipments.

Lithuania's average wholesale electricity market price fell by 2% last week to 49.8 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh), Litgrid said on Tuesday.

A new smaller cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia' Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk arrived in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda on Monday. It's the Russian company's second shipment this month.

The Energy Ministry said on Wednesday it has worked out a plan of actions and measures for synchronizing the Lithuanian electricity system with that of Continental Europe, in line with a synchronization law passed by the parliament in June.
