EconomyOnline second-hand clothing marketplace Vinted has raised 128 mln euros in a funding round, making it Lithuania's first "unicorn", a startup company valued at over 1 bn euros. On Friday, oil and LNG terminal operator KN entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Polish Oil and Gas Company PGNiG, for which LNG reloading station capacity has been reserved for five years. PGNiG will start commercial operation of the LNG reloading station from April 2020. Apollo Group OU, the biggest entertainment provider in Estonia, is to open over 20 more Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurants in the Baltic countries in the next three years and KFC will also be added to Apollo Group's loyalty program. A new small cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's Novatek is expected to come to Klaipeda on Tuesday, marking the seventh such delivery in the new gas year that started in early October. Itella Logistics, a company controlled by Finland's state-owned Posti Group, is planning to expand its operations in Lithuania. Elenger signed a contract with the company Klaipedos Nafta, which operates the Klaipeda terminal in Lithuania, to start purchasing LNG via a floating terminal Independence in Klaipeda and transferring it to the natural gas network. Klaipeda's Elme Metall Lithuania, a company selling metal profiles, part of the Estonian BLRT Grupp group, plans to expand its business to Vilnius. |
