EconomyLG Cargo, a rail cargo company which is part of Lithuania's state-run railway company Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways), has been observing a downward tendency for cargo recently and hopes to maintain last year's result. The Lithuanian government is expected to endorse this week the security plans of the natural gas transmission system operator Amber Grid, which is carrying out the Gas Interconnector Poland-Lithuania (GIPL) project in Lithuania's territory. M.M.M. Projektai, a real estate company owned by Lithuanian businessman Nerijus Numavicius, plans to invest 200 million euros in Riga over the next few years. Starting Wednesday, video sharing platform YouTube will start offering its music streaming service YouTube Music as well as its Premium service in Baltic countries. A large LNG bunker vessel, Neptune, is scheduled to arrive in Lithuania's port of Klaipeda on Sunday night and is believed to be brining a LNG shipment from French company Total for Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas (LET), a subsidiary of the state-owned energy group Lietuvos Energija. Achemos Grupe, the largest minority shareholder of the state-controlled energy terminals operator Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil), has turned to the Lithuanian president, the prime minister and the European Commission over plans to transfer the company's liquefied natural gas business to a subsidiary. Viciunu Grupe (Viciunai Group), a business group controlled by Visvaldas Matijosaitis, mayor of Lithuania's second-largest city of Kaunas, has established a sales company, Vichiunai Sakartvelo, in the Georgian capital.
