The Government has agreed to ease requirements for short-term (up to 2 hours) non-commercial events taking place outdoors in public spaces. Nearly a third of plastic waste in Europe is recycled. The production of plastic has grown exponentially in just a few decades - from 1.5 million tonnes in 1950 to 359 million tonnes in 2018 worldwide – and with it the amount of plastic waste. More favourable conditions established for unmanned aircraft to operate within cities with airports2021-06-24, 16:06From 1 August, a simplified procedure for unmanned aircraft (drones) to operate within Lithuanian cities with airports will apply. Special requirements for such flights have been established in the amendments to the Aviation Law initiated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which were approved by the Seimas. Vilnius continues vaccination with first vaccine doses without any registration at the Litexpo (Laisvės pr. 5) vaccination center. Today, on the 21st of June, residents will be able to choose vaccines of two manufacturers – Pfizer -BioNTech or Moderna. Starting Tuesday, Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine only will be offered. This week, Vilnius received 21 000 doses of this vaccine.
