Based on preliminary data of the first quarter of the year 2014, 231,600 thousand Lithuanian citizens or 2.7% travelled abroad. The number of outbound tourists increased compared to the same period in 2013.

On Wednesday 25 June at 16.30 Vilnius district branch of the Association of Poles in Lithuania is organizing a picketing in front of the Embassy of Germany in Vilnius. The aim of the picketing is to express disapproval of the lack of solutions of problems of Poles and other national minorities in Lithuania.
