Poles in Lithuania will only be able to use the letter „w” among others approved („w”, „x”, „q”). The changes do not include the letters with diacritics, that are important to Lithuanian Poles: ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż, dź, dż. If the President signs the bill, it will come into force on 1st May 2022.
