Bachelor of Business Administration Christoph Seyfang from Koblenz (Germany), now a 34 year-old Export Control specialist at a company that produces parts for helicopters and airplanes, was once a student at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). When asked about the origin of his last name which to some might sound Chinese, Seyfang laughs and says that it is just a coincidence.

The crew of the School Television IgnaśTV came to Vilnius for a three-day filming at the Vilnius University, where Ignacy Domeyko used to study. The film crew started the filming at the university library following with the filming in the White Hall and the Grand Courtyard. The end of roaming charges could become a reality in just two years' time. Parliament's industry committee approved on Wednesday a deal to end roaming charged that had been agreed with EU governments and the European Commission. The three films competing for the 2015 LUX Prize were announced on 24 July in Rome by EP vice-president Antonio Tajani and culture committee chair Silvia Costa, at the Venice Days press conference. The films are: Mediterranea by Jonas Carpignano (Italy, United States, Germany, France, Qatar), Mustang, by Deniz Gamze Ergüven (France, Germany, Turkey, Qatar) and Urok (The Lesson) by Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov (Bulgaria, Greece).
