The state-owned companies agreed on service provision to LESTO customers at 45 post offices in Lithuania. After the official visit by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Arijandas Šliupas, aimed on increasing the cooperation with People's Republic of China, Chinese media evaluated the Lithuanian scope to establish stable, constructive and mutually beneficial business relationship positively. In the first half of 2014, a total of 6,998 economic entities were registered in Lithuania, or a 0.2% increase year-on-year, reports LETA/ELTA, referring to Department of Statistics. Based on data provided by social and media research company TNS LT, in January-May 2014 compared with the same period in 2013, total advertising volume in Lithuania increased by 6.2%. This year outdoor, cinema, radio and television advertising increased the most. In May 2014, compared with April 2014, industrial producer prices in Lithuania fell by 1.5%, while compared with May 2013 they declined by 4.8%, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, said. In May 2014, compared with April 2014, industrial producer prices fell by 0.1% in both the euro area and the EU. |
