Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13. These barbaric acts against civilians is a callous and cruel attack against humanity and civilisation. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish a speed recovery to the wounded. The organizers and perpetrators of these terrorist acts must be identified and brought to justice. Lithuania expresses solidarity with all the people of France. Lithuania will remain a staunch and reliable ally of France and all international community in the fight against terrorism.
President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences on behalf of the Lithuanian people and on her own behalf to President François Hollande of France over the terrorist attacks in Paris, which killed dozens of innocent people and left many injured.
"Such horrific brutality cannot be justified and must face rightful justice and condemnation," the President wrote in her message of condolences.
The President conveyed heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and to the people of France, wishing them all fortitude, unity and courage.
