Linkevičius also met with the Secretary of State at the President's Chancellery Krzysztof Szczerski. In the meeting, the officials discussed the possibility of strengthening security in the region together, developing joint energy and transport projects, intensifying business relationships and helping Eastern partners to take steps towards joining the European Union and NATO.
Lithuania's Foreign Minister also met with Witold Waszczykowski and Jarosław Sellin, representatives of Poland's winning party, Law and Justice, to discuss prospects for possible bilateral and international cooperation.
