The Consulate General of Lithuania in Los Angeles will contribute to the development of economic, trade and cultural relations with one of the biggest economic and cultural centres in the U.S., as well as facilitate consular services in the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii.
During the visit, Richard Maullin, Chairman of the Board of the Vilnius Yiddish Institute at the Vilnius University, President of the Friends of the Vilnius Yiddish Institute, was awarded by Minister Linkevičius with Lithuanian Diplomacy Star, an honorary sign of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On 1 June, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister is holding meetings with EU Consuls General in Los Angeles, representatives of the Ronald W. Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, and attending the presentation of Lithuania's economic potential and investment opportunities organised by an investment promotion agency Invest Lithuania.
