Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended his greetings to new Prime Minister of Finland Juha Sipilä on the formation of the new Government of Finland and his appointment as the Head of Government. In his letter, Prime Minister Butkevičius has emphasized that Lithuania is ready to be a trustworthy partner of Finland and to work closely in pursuit of common goals for the benefit of the two nations. "I am sincerely delighted with the successful bilateral relations between our countries, and our mutual understanding in pursuit of common objectives. I am confident that our ongoing cooperation will continue to progress in the most cooperative and friendly spirit, and our partnership will contribute to creating prosperity for the people of our countries", reads Prime Minister Butkevičius's letter to the new Prime Minister of Finland.
