The President underlined that the United Kingdom and Lithuania would continue to develop dynamic, mutually beneficial relations, and that joint initiatives in the fields of security, economy and science would strengthen both nations.
In her message of congratulations, the President also noted that working together decisively and in the spirit of solidarity and unity in the European Union and NATO, the United Kingdom and Lithuania would defend the interests and common values of the two nations and their partner states.
Dalia Grybauskaitė wished David Cameron continued success in promoting the unity of his country and further well-being and security of its people.
