The budget and economic affairs committees vote Monday on the European Strategic Investment Fund to boost the EU economy. The details of the financing of the €315 billion plan remain to be negotiated with the national governments and the European Commission. All MEPs will vote on it during a plenary session in June.
The development committees votes Monday on how EU development aid should be financed ahead of an international conference on development finance in Addis Ababa in July and also on the new Global Development goals to be agreed upon at the UN summit in New York in September 2015.

The internal market committee votes Thursday on a directive setting up new rules concerning personal protection equipment such as life jackets, bicycle helmets and oven gloves.
The legal affairs committee's working group on robotics has its first meeting on Thursday. Robotic are becoming a part of everyday life so there is an increasing need for an adequate legal framework. The working group being set up is to pave the way for civil law rules on robotics and artificial intelligence.
