In meetings in Kyiv with Ukrainian officials, the leader of the Crimean Tatars, Vice Minister Krivas stressed Lithuania's support for Ukraine and its goal of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. He called for active implementation of reforms needed for the country and its people.
During the discussion at the Strategic Discussion Club on Security in Dnepropetrovsk Krivas talked to Dnepropetrovsk students and general public about Lithuania's experience in accession process to NATO and the achievements of the past 11 years. He underlined that one of the priorities for the NATO Contact Point Embassy (CPE) was to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and NATO. Embassy of Lithuania serves as a CPE in Kyiv.
In Dnepropetrovsk, Krivas visited Mechnikov hospital in Dnepropetrovsk supported by Lithuania. The hospital treats injured soldiers from eastern Ukraine.
