This march in solidarity is initiated by French political parties in response to this week's terrorist attacks in France, which killed 17 people.
French President Francois Holland, European Council President Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, other heads of state, heads of government and foreign ministers are also participating in the campaign.
The President of France is taking part in such a march for the first time since 25 years ago, when French President François Mitterrand and the people of France expressed their discontent with the desecration of Jewish graves in 1990.
