NASDAQ congratulates Lithuania on euro adoption

On January 5, NASDAQ displayed a message of congratulations to Lithuania on adopting the new currency on a huge screen in New York City's famous Times Square. David Wicks, deputy president of NASDAQ, congratulated Lithuanians residing in the US and Lithuania. Wicks in his speech delivered in Times Square also mentioned his Lithuanian roots. Consulate General of Lithuania in New York Julius Pranevicius says that Lithuania's membership in the eurozone is a great evaluation of the country's economy and a signal to the US businessmen planning investments in Lithuania.
