Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, according to AP. The Republican candidate won 277 electoral votes, seven above the required minimum. Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris currently has 224 electoral votes.
Voting in the US presidential election ended at 8.00 a.m. Lithuanian time on Wednesday.

He said he will not rest until he gives the people a strong, safe and prosperous America. ‘I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every single day I will be fighting for you, and with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve,’ Trump said. He declared that God saved him for a reason during the attack in Pennsylvania in July.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda congratulated Trump on his win. ‘Congratulations Donald Trump on winning the U.S. Presidential election! The USA is a key strategic ally of Lithuania. We both take our security seriously. Lithuania currently allocates 3.5% GDP to defense& will continue increasing our investment. Transatlantic unity is crucial!’ - wrote the Lithuanian president on platform X.
